PLASTIC INJECTION :

Plastic Injectors utilize metal moulds instead of the traditional rubber mould.Metal moulds have a number of advantages over rubber.First, metal moulds permit the injection of extremly thin patterns, as thin as 0,35 mm and in some cases thinner.All details are precisely replicated; even the thiniest details (lettering, logos, etc.) are crisp and clear, with a quality far surpassing that of rubber moulds.
Metal moulds maintain precise tolerances and do not distort with heat or pressure as rubber mould may. Patterns produced from a good metal mould always weigh the same and have indentical dimensions, making pricing of the finished jewellery much more accurate. Most metal moulds require little or no mould release or silicone spray. Plastic cools much faster than wax,so metal moulds can generally be opened immediately with no waiting. Making a metal mould is more complicated than a rubber mould, but a metal mould lasts almost for ever, and there are many creative possibilities. For example interchangeable inserts can be fitted into the mould blanks.Metal moulds can make rings, findings, pendants, earrings and even technical parts, nearly anything you make in a rubber mould. DIE NEUE GENERATION DER METALLFORMENHERSTELLUNG THE NEW GENERATION IN METAL MOULD MAKING Der Metal Boy ist eine große Erleichterung für die Metallformenherstellung.Ein regelbares Wärmebecken kann mit bis zu 3 kg geschmolzenem Metall gefüllt werden und ist mit einem pneumatischen Lift ausgestattet, der das Becken immer in die Höhe des Einfüllkanals befördert. Der Metallrahmen kann variabel an einer Spannvorrichtung angebracht werden. Durch eine sehr feine Ausflussdüse kann die genaue Metallmenge mit einem pneumatischen Schalter bestimmt werden. Falls die Metallform zu voll sein sollte, kann das Wärmebecken seitlich gekippt werden.The Metal Boy is a big alleviation in the metal mould technique. A temperature controlled basin can hold up to 3 kg of molten metal and it is provided with a pneumatic lift,which can move the vessel up and down to be always close to the filling hole. The metal mould can be placed on a variable clamping property. A very fine heated outlet nozzle can control the quantity by using the pneumatic switch. In case of overfilling the metal mould, the basin can be swiveled sidewards .
