MATURED SYSTEM FOR HOLLOW JEWELLERY IN ONE PIECE
We have developed another considerable facility for jewellery industry. Until now it has been impossible to manufacture hollow parts by moulding, i.e. in one piece, since the rubber core would be trapped in the wax piece. After extensive tests with several materials we have been able to develop a method to replace the rubber core with a watersolubl e material. A core made of this watersoluble material is put into the mould and the wax can be injected around as usual. As l ong the core out of AQUA-PLAST material is left in the wax piece, it is possi ble to place stones into the wax -without damaging the piece - for stones in wax casting. The core of AQUA-PLAST is then washed out of the wax piece with water and a 12% ci tric acid solution.Thi s process is very uncomplicated and does not require much attention.The core out of AQUA-PLAST dissolves within a few minutes and the almost hol low wax piece is ready for casting. "Almost hollow" means that two openings are needed for the removal of the core and the implementation of the embedding mass.The AQUA-PLAST SYSTEM requires a special waxi njector with stirrer, auto-clamp and control unit. The appearance of AQUA-PLAST is very similar to conventional injection wax. However, the two material s have nothing in common.AQUA-PLAST is very viscous and retains its shape after its injection. Sti rring the material is very important to prevent the sedimentation of the various filling materials.Two rubber moulds are reqiured to practice the AQUA-PLAST SYSTEM. One is needed to make the core out of AQUA-PLAST, the second is the mould into which the newly created AQUA-PLAST core is inserted. AQUA-PLAST is environmentally safe and complies to all general safety regulations.

Further Features:
1. With the machines and materials incl. the corresponding software which are available nowadays, three dimensional, in caoutchouc moldable models can be made from professionals in wage-labour, quic k and at very reasonable prices.

2. The two plotted models needed for the AQUA-PLAST PLUS SYSTEM, can be molded in vulcanizing rubber right away without any finish off. If neccess ary it is possible to go over the plotted material - grinding, filing, polishing etc. - before molding.

3.The hollow parts in one piece, can after the molding in vulcanizing rubber, been made with the AQUA-PLAST PLUS SYSTEM, much quicker, at a reasonable price, burned out without any residue,because they are made out of common wax.

4. Small companies can therefore, without buying expensive programmes and machines, produce problem-free
hollow jewellery parts in one piece. Companies who are already working with these programmes and machines,
can make their production of hollow parts in one piece more efficiently, because the waxes can be injected much
quicker and the wax burnes out without any residue.

5. Much more possibilities, wich are not all discovered yet, can be made in combination with CAD (special JewelCAD programmes) and the 3D-models (hard enough with a smooth surface, and a 15 micron resolution capability as standard) together with our AQUA-PLAST PLUS SYSTEM.
